Using the repositories

To add the iplist repository to Ubuntu follow these instructions or create a new file (as root) in /etc/apt/sources.list.d named iplist.list with the following content depending on the Ubuntu version:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ssakar/ppa/ubuntu lucid main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/ssakar/ppa/ubuntu lucid main
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ssakar/ppa/ubuntu karmic main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/ssakar/ppa/ubuntu karmic main
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ssakar/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/ssakar/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ssakar/ppa/ubuntu intrepid main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/ssakar/ppa/ubuntu intrepid main
After an update of the Software sources iplist can be installed with any package manager. The key of the signed packages can be imported like this:
sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com \ C6E3D905C8BCD56BB02E6E0B39456311108B243F

To add the repository to Fedora copy the appropriate repo file (as root) to /etc/yum.repo.d.

iplist is available on Gentoo through sunrise overlay.

Arch Linux

iplist is available in AUR.

Debian packages are available in the download section.

Old Distributions

Packages for Ubuntu Feisty, Gutsy and Fedora Core 7, 8 can be found in the 0.19 release. Debian Etch packages are available in the 0.24 release.

Experimental ARM Support

There is an experimental ARM source tarball and a binary debian package (armel) for Debian Lenny available without GUI support. This version uses less RAM than the latest version. However iplist is not optimized to run on devices with less than 96 MB of RAM.
